Food and Film!

Invitation for Saturday, October 28

Dear International students (Dutch students also welcome), International Café is a place for students from different countries to meet each other and make new friends. It is also a chance to meet some Dutchies and ask questions you may have about the Netherlands. We want you to feel at home!

Join us on Saturday, October 28, 2017 to watch the gripping war film, Hacksaw Ridge. The film tells the true story of a war hero who believed that war was sometimes justified but killing was wrong. How can you be a soldier with such convictions?  See how the film deals with this question and join the discussion afterwards.

Food: There will be a meal of Mexican enchiladas, fresh drinks and coffee or tea. Also ice-cream and plenty of popcorn.

Cost – 3 euros per person.

Time: Our doors will be open starting at 17.30, and the evening will end at 22.00 hours.

Be sure to sign up by Friday, October 27.

IMPORTANT: If you have signed up but for some reason you can’t come, please let us know as soon as you can so that we know how much food to prepare.
