Food and Film!

Invitation for Saturday, October 28

Dear International students (Dutch students also welcome),

We really enjoyed meeting you last time at the house and exhibition hall of Henk Helmantel! It was a great afternoon, with good food and conversations. And now we have another special evening for you with Mexican food and the film ‘Hacksaw Ridge’.

International Café was started in 2008 to make students from abroad feel at home during their time in Groningen. Read more about us and have a look at photos of our activities to find out a bit more.

Our October meeting will be held this coming Saturday, October 28.

What: Film Hacksaw Ridge – true story about a war hero who never fired a bullet!

When: welcome from 17.30 until 22:00 o’clock.

Where: Het Pand, Madoerastraat 16, Groningen (follow this link for directions). The building is not easy to see from the street, but we will have someone waiting to guide you in.

Food: delicious Mexican enchiladas (also vegetarian). During the film there will be ice cream and plenty of popcorn and fresh drinks, coffee and tea.

Cost – 3 euros per person.

Be sure to sign up by Friday, October 27.

(through the form below)

IMPORTANT: If you have signed up but for some reason you can’t come, please let us know as soon as you can so that we know how much food to prepare.

Welcome! Join us and bring your friends.
