Dear international students,
We enjoyed seeing so many of you at our January event. Fortunately, February is short so we can reconvene February 29! Pakistan, Ireland, Germany, Egypt and Haiti have all great foods and several students will be preparing special dishes from their countries. And they will tell a bit about their food and national customs around food and mealtimes. A very diverse combination. Some dishes will be vegetarian and even vegan.
Come and taste the food and join in the conversations and share your ideas about the importance of what we eat and the significance of mealtimes in different cultures.
Join us to eat, meet and talk with other international students!
Time: 18.00 to 22.00. Coffee and tea will be served at 18.00 and dinner at 18.30. Be sure to come on time and enjoy the food while it is hot.
Cost: €3.00 — Be sure to bring cash, preferably change.
Sign up: Closing on Friday, February 28! Please sign up in time. We can have a maximum of 40 students for this event.
If you have signed up but are not able to come, would you mind to cancel your reservation? That allows someone else to take your place. Thanks!
Location: Het Pand, Madoerastraat 16 in Groningen. Check our website for some photos of the neighborhood and directions on how to get there (in short: go to Floresplein 30, we are in the adjacent alley).
