  1. I had a wonderful time this evening making new friends, trying Brazilian food and learning to samba!

  2. Thank you for organising this event, and not letting us stay in our empty room. Thank you for your kindness and, of course, the food was delicious.

  3. Very nice and lovely evening. I do feel as if I am at home tonight. Nice food, so congratulations to the chef. What I love the most is the atmosphere that you made here. You made us very happy and loved for our Christmas eve.

  4. Thank you so much for organizing this wonderful evening. I got to meet and talk with a lot of people so I don’t feel lonely this Christmas Eve.

  5. Thank you so much for the dinner. It was really a great idea of uniting students from different nationalities under one roof. Please keep it up.

  6. Thank you all for the delicious meals, the friendly environment and most of all your thoughtfulness. I am so happy that I discovered International Café! The idea of doing something like that is gorgeous! I’m glad that I’m part of this event. I wish you good luck in organizing events and just keep doing it!

  7. Thank you very much for a wonderful night. You amaze me with your hospitality, warmness and positive energy. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

  8. Dear friends, This is a warm environment to be for Christmas. Feels like in a family. I am very, very thankful to you!

  9. The International Christmas Dinner last year was a very memorable gathering. At a time when all the student-houses are nearly empty and there is hardly any event in town, the Christmas dinner is a perfect occasion to meet new people, make new friends, and merry together. There were people from 3 different continents on our table, and all us had a wonderful time. Besides the sumptuous, multiple-course dinner, there is plenty of entertainment. It’s fun to listen to jokes and songs from different cultures, and see how similar and yet different we all are. I eagerly look forward to this year’s dinner, and recommend it very much to anyone who is interested to join !!

  10. I totally agree with Lois’s comments regarding the international dinner, that was really a touching event which did not only make us feel happy but also taught us a very good lesson, on how to treat international students/people leaving in our areas to make them feel at home.

  11. I was touched by the generosity and love of people to other people (international students) they do not personally know. The weight of loneliness that would come as a result of being away from home on Christmas was greatly reduced.
